Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager to oversee our day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. This individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, collections, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is an organized accounting professional with strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Manage invoice processing, payment approvals, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor customer accounts, billing, collections, and outstanding receivables.
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor records.
• Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, vendor statements, and customer accounts.
• Ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and maintain AP/AR reports and provide financial information to management.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Supervise, train, and support AP/AR staff as applicable.
• Work closely with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
• Prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP/AR processes.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
