Job Description

Dental Practice Management Consultant (Onsite Position, $70,000 - $130,000 DOE) About the Firm Nannas, Haines & Schiavo, P.A. is an accounting, tax services, and consulting firm that specializes in working with dentists and dental specialists, assisting them in every aspect of running their dental practice. Beyond business, tax, and financial services, the firm offers consulting designed to help dental practices achieve efficiency, growth, and success. For over 40 years, the firm’s growth has come almost entirely from referrals from existing dental clients and from networking within the dental community — not from advertising or a large web presence. That track record reflects the depth of trust the firm has built within the dental industry. About the Role We’re looking for a Dental Practice Management Consultant to join our unique team of professionals, providing comprehensive, ongoing support to dentists and their teams across every facet of running a practice. This role is hired at one of two levels — Consultant or Senior Consultant — based on experience, and advancement between levels is driven by a combination of experience, performance, and growing scope of responsibility. This is primarily an in-office role with regular travel to client dental practices, working directly with dentists and their teams on the ground. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive and ongoing support to the dentist and the dental team. Assist in transitioning practice ownership, as well as starting or closing a practice. Develop processes for patient services and optimum dental care with patient satisfaction. Formulate operations and systems management plans for implementation. Handle human resources and employment practices to support exceptional teamwork. Manage facets of Accounts Receivable through review of insurance participation, billing, and collection procedures. Guide practice expansion and growth through efficient protocols and marketing. Support dental software reporting and oversee data conversions. Compile data for analysis of production and collection statistics. Undertake short- and long-term projects addressing various practice issues and needs, providing advice and suggestions for improvement aligned with client objectives. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or equivalent years of work experience. Proven experience in management or consulting, preferably within the dental industry. Strong understanding of dental practice operations, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in numerous dental software systems. A great listener with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational and coordination skills with strong time-management abilities. Attention to detail, accuracy, and strict confidentiality are a must. Energetic, self-motivated, and a quick thinker who is passionate about coaching others toward success. Retirement: 401(k) with company match. Health coverage: Medical, dental, and disability insurance, fully paid by the firm. Paid Time Off: Generous PTO included. Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. Work arrangement: Primarily in-office, with regular travel to client dental practices. Growth path: A track from Consultant to Senior Consultant, with opportunity to grow into broader practice leadership within the firm’s dental consulting team. Culture: Join a unique team of professionals dedicated to helping dental practices achieve efficiency, growth, and long-term success. #J-18808-Ljbffr Nannas Haines & Schiavo, P.A.
