Job Description

An established financial services organization is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support enterprise application development in Vienna, Virginia. This role will contribute across the software development lifecycle, from design and development through testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Hybrid (at least 2 days a week onsite)

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and maintain full stack applications and enterprise systems.
Translate business and technical requirements into scalable application solutions.
Develop and support Java/J2EE applications, middleware, and integration technologies.
Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services, APIs, XML integrations, and enterprise interfaces.
Support data migration, data mapping, SFTP, troubleshooting, testing, and application maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of full stack application development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong experience with Java/J2EE and enterprise application development.
Experience with SOA, middleware, integration technologies, and related frameworks.
Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services, WSDL, XML, and APIs.
Experience with relational databases such as DB2, SQL Server, or Oracle.
Knowledge of mainframe systems and enterprise integrations.
Experience with data migration, data mapping, and cloud solutions.
Experience with SFTP and enterprise data/file transfers.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Desired Skills:

Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Experience with cloud development and modernization initiatives.
Knowledge of Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
Familiarity with financial services applications, systems, standards, and regulations.
Experience supporting compliance applications.
Knowledge of OFAC, BSA, and AML systems.
Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Pega.
Experience with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps.
IT industry certifications.
Knowledge of Power BI.
