Senior Graphic Designer – Fashion / Denim

On Site - 5 Days a Week NYC

$90K Base Salary

Overview:

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Senior Graphic Designer to join our clients growing design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who has a strong point of view, a deep appreciation for denim culture, vintage typography, fashion, and contemporary streetwear , and the technical expertise to bring concepts from initial idea through production. In this role, you’ll lead a team of two graphic designers and develop graphics, prints, embellishments, trims, and brand identity elements across our apparel collections. You’ll work closely with design, product development, and marketing to create cohesive seasonal stories and production-ready artwork.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of 2 graphic designers while providing creative direction and maintaining brand consistency.
• Develop original concepts for screen prints, embroideries, laser artwork, patches, embellishments, and textile prints .
• Create seasonal branding packages including woven labels, hangtags, leather patches, buttons, rivets, and other trims/hardware .
• Design graphics for T-shirts, jackets, hoodies, and other apparel categories .
• Develop all-over prints, repeat patterns, embroidery artwork, and specialty graphics.
• Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork and files for factories, including AI, PSD, vector artwork, color separations, and repeat patterns .
• Work hands-on with print production techniques including screen printing, embroidery, laser, patches, and embellishments .
• Partner with marketing to create social media graphics, email assets, lookbooks, and other digital content .
• Conduct trend and market research across denim, vintage/archival graphics, typography, embellishment, streetwear, and contemporary fashion .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure creative concepts translate effectively from design to final product.
• Help evolve and maintain a consistent visual identity across brands, products, packaging, trims, and marketing.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of graphic design experience, preferably within fashion, apparel, denim, or lifestyle brands .
• A strong portfolio showcasing apparel graphics, typography, prints, embroidery, embellishments, and branding .
• A genuine passion for denim, vintage graphics, archival references, and modern fashion trends .
• Strong understanding of apparel graphic production, including screen printing, embroidery, laser techniques, patches, and specialty embellishments .
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite , particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to create detailed, factory-ready artwork.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and seasonal deadlines.
• Previous experience mentoring, managing, or providing creative direction to other designers.
• Experience with 3D design tools and AI-powered creative tools is a plus.
