Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours (8:00–16:30) | Weekends and on-call required

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized goals and treatment plans
Administer speech therapy treatments, modalities, procedures, and protocols in accordance with department guidelines
Provide accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all patient treatments
Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to promote interdisciplinary collaboration
Support and practice in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and protocols
Assume responsibility for ongoing professional development

Required Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program required
Active State of Texas Speech Language Pathologist license required prior to start (pending license accepted at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Willingness to work weekends, on-call, and some holidays
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Must pass an on-site drug screen prior to assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and follow written and oral instructions in a clinical setting
